Thamesreelroom was founded with a straightforward ambition: to be the most honest and rigorous casino comparison resource available to UK players. We grew frustrated watching affiliate sites push casinos to the top of their lists based on commercial deals rather than genuine quality — and decided to build something better.
We do not operate a casino, accept player deposits, or process wagers. We are purely a review and comparison platform. Every casino that appears in our listings has been independently tested by our editorial team using real accounts and real money. No operator can buy their way to a higher position.

Our commercial team manages affiliate relationships with listed casinos. They operate in a separate lane from our editorial team, and commercial staff have no ability to influence review scores or leaderboard positions. All affiliate relationships and commission structures are disclosed in our Terms & Conditions.
When we receive an affiliate enquiry from a casino, it is first routed through our review process. Only operators that achieve a passing score across all five assessment criteria are eligible to be listed. There are no exceptions.
We disclose our rating methodology in full on our How We Rate page. We disclose our affiliate relationships in our terms. We publish our scoring criteria so any operator — or any reader — can understand exactly why a casino sits where it does in our rankings.
Every decision we make starts with a single question: does this help a UK player make a better choice? If the answer is no, we do not do it. This means we will downgrade a listed casino mid-month if we receive credible evidence of significant player harm, even if we have a live affiliate relationship with that operator.
Our scores are not set-and-forget. We recalculate every listed casino's score at least once per calendar month, incorporating new player feedback, updated bonus terms, and the results of fresh withdrawal tests. Casinos that slip below our quality threshold are removed from our leaderboard without notice.
